Although some of his decisions and actions made it difficult to remain a fan during the last 15 years, in a way his passing has enabled us to focus fully on his art and not his personality. If you take away the supposed drug addiction, alleged child molestation, skin lightening, and financial troubles - you have an entertainer of staggering talent. Just look at his performance on the "Ed Sullivan Show" with the Jackson 5. Astonishing.

He will be missed.
